Background

The Nuclear Fuels Reprocessing (NFR) Coalition has been formed in the US "to promote the construction and operation of nuclear fuels reprocessing facilities. NFR promotes reprocessing commercial spent nuclear fuel that is generated by commercial nuclear power plants."

Key Personnel

Norris McDonald who is the President of the African American Environmentalist Association is the Co-chairman of the Coalition. [1]

Yucca is Perfect

McDonald argues that "Yucca Mountain is a perfect place to reprocess spent nuclear fuel. Above ground or underground".[2]
